Connie Yun is a freelance lighting designer for the stage and is based out of Seattle, WA USA.  In the Pacific Northwest, her designs have been seen at Seattle Opera, Portland Opera, OrpheusPDX, Tacoma Opera, ACT Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, On The Boards, Empty Space Theatre, Cornish College, Bellevue Colllege, and University of Puget Sound.  Nationally and internationally, she has also designed for Alliance Theatre, Merrimack Rep, New Orleans Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Hawaii Opera Theatre, Palm Beach Opera, Madison Opera, Kentucky Opera, Minnesota Opera, Dallas Opera, Arizona Opera, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Academy of the West, and Canadian Opera Company.  Connie has also been the assistant/associate to many internationally known lighting designers including Duane Schuler, Peter Kaczorowski, Jennifer Tipton, Robert Wierzel, Neil Peter Jampolis, and Mark McCullough.  Upcoming 2024/2025 projects include designs for Opera Philadelphia, Florentine Opera, DMMO, ACT, New Orleans Opera, Opera Colorado, and Seattle Opera. Connie is a member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829 and a mentor for the ETC Fred Foster Student Mentorship Program.
